Wedding June 11th

Congratulations to Nicole and Jeff!

This sweet couple had the most endearing ceremony.  I have got to say it… when the groom tears up in the vows it is the most tender moment.  Jeff did a wonderful job.  Things went their way, too.  Their best man is stationed over in Asia and managed to drive from California to Port Townsend, WA the morning of their wedding.  AND he was on time!  Their wedding party was a lot of fun and they are a sweet couple.  We slipped over to Manresa Castle Hotel and shot gorgeous shots for them.  These two have a loving family and I am grateful that I had the chance to preserve their memories.

Congratulations you two!

Congratulations to Nathan and Jessica!

These lovely people got married at a culinary school:  the food did not disappoint!  They met in college and are both engineers.  So, they crafted a intertwining symbol for their love.  Jess and Nate are so passionate about each other.  The food was great and their families partied on the dance floor.  Every single guest cracked a smile, if not a magnificent burst of happy laughter.  It was great to see all ages and backgrounds enjoying each other.  I am so grateful to have been a part of their day.

Congratulations you two!

Congratulations to Gyöngyi and Michael!

The Seymour Botanical Conservancy made their sweet wedding very intimate.  Gorgeous flowers surrounded this lovely couple as they committed to one another.  It was a very heartfelt ceremony.  The party then started down at the Mansion on Broadway.  The couple served every guest their wine before the start of dinner, as per a Hungarian custom from Gyöngyi’s heritage.  They shared an tasty dinner with their family and friends.  Next the couple flies back to Europe for a wedding with the rest of her family.

Congratulations you two!

Congratulations to Gary and Nancy!

I just got back from a delightful wedding at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center.  It started as the rain was softly falling on the budding trees and shrubs; the reception wrapped up as the sun streaked through the trees.  With the wild, majestic natural park below them, the newlyweds said their vows, inside.  They served a wonderful buffet of deserts for their guests; catered by Metropolitan Market; which not only did a fabulous job, but also made sure there was no corn in any of the food as there was an allergy.

It was a heartwarming group in a wonderful setting.

Congratulations!

Wedding 3/5/2011

Nickie and William are now married.  Their ceremony was intimate and charming.

This was my first visit to Alexander Country Inn in Ashford, WA.  It is a wonderful spot for a small wedding.  Nickie was a calm and fun-loving bride and William joins in with her wonderfully.  Though there was snow on the ground, they were willing to venture outside with me.

I wish them the best.  I had a wonderful time snapping their wedding.
